Dundas Castle
SOUTH QUEENSFERRY, EDINBURGH Dundas Castle is one
of Scotland's most beautiful and historic castles.
Built in 1818 by the renowned Scottish architect,
William Burn, the Castle is now the luxurious
stately home of Sir Jack Stewart-Clark and his
wife, Lady Lydia. The castle is available for
exclusive hire and can be booked for a wide
variety of events - weddings, conferences,
business meetings, incentive travel group visits,
private dinner parties, launch parties and
receptions.

Melville Castle Hotel

Melville Castle has been
restored and refurbished to provide a luxury 4 star Hotel
only 6 miles (9.6 km) from Edinburgh city. Built in 1786 on
the site of the old medieval castle for the first Viscount
Melville, it is described as of important historical and
architectural significance. Designed by James Playfair
principally for entertaining on a grand scale, the spacious
entrance hall allows access to the elegant inner hall,
staircase and attractive reception rooms. Each of the
Castle's 30 comfortably furnished bedrooms is unique. The
passenger lift gives access to the dining and boardroom and
three levels of bedrooms including luxury four-poster rooms,
six Gallery and two Spa bedrooms.

quiet rural location overlooking the River Forth,
only 25 minutes from Edinburgh and close to main

classified as a Category A listed building by
Historic Scotland. The oldest part of the house
which still stands is the eastern tower and was
built by John Hamilton of Letterick in 1602. |

These very attractive ground and first
floor apartments are set within a magnificent Grade A listed
baronial castle, designed by Robert Adam and built in 1784.
Elegantly furnished, Tower View has a very spacious drawing room
with a marble fireplace and tiny turret room leading off. Tay View
boasts wonderful feature windows throughout with walnut and oak
shutters, a unique tower bathroom and like Tower View has a
drawing room that overlooks the River Tay. The apartments are
situated on the edge of a small village within the fertile Carse
of Gowrie along the banks of the River Tay, which is renowned for
production of soft fruit. Perth (6 miles) has excellent shops,
restaurants and bars and theatre. Edinburgh and Glasgow just over
an hour's drive, as is skiing at Glen Shee. St Andrew's, the home
of golf, 40 minutes' drive. |
