LITTLECOTE HOUSE HOTEL WEDDINGS

Wedding ceremony and reception facilities - Littlecote House Hotel is ideal for civil weddings and receptions. It offers superb facilities, elegant state rooms and stunning grounds amongst a background of beautiful rolling hills. The hotel works in conjunction with Bows Events who specialise in floristry and decorative themes, and who can help make your wedding day truly special.

Littlecote House has two elegant rooms that are licensed for civil ceremonies:

The Round Library - The elegant round library overlooks the White Garden and is ideal for small intimate weddings of up to 30 guests. The decoration and layout of the room can be arranged to suit your taste. This opens through to the Chinese Room, which can be used to have celebratory drinks after the ceremony.

The Long Gallery - A beautiful oak panelled portrait gallery that seats up to 100 guests for a civil ceremony. The seating can be arranged informally in a semi-circle around the Oriel Window, or in an aisle style of narrow rows to create a more traditional appearance. The Gallery can be used for celebratory drinks after the civil ceremony.

Whether it's a small gathering or a large reception the following places make ideal venues.

Troopers Restaurant - If you're looking for a small intimate venue for your reception or wedding breakfast, Troopers restaurant, which can seat up to 45 guests is ideal. Seating can be arranged at a long table or with small round tables.

The Orangery - A beautiful room, The Orangery can seat up to 110 guests. There's also room for dancing, in the adjoining Octagonal Room.

Private marquee in the grounds of Littlecote House - A marquee may be positioned on the magnificent lawns to the west of the House, and allows you to have as many guests as you wish according to the size of the marquee hired. You can provide your own wine and catering or we can provide you with a choice of three preferred caterers to suit your taste and budget.

Medieval Banquet - Enjoy the medieval splendour of a special banquet in the Great Hall, a reception your guests will remember. This is a memorable way to celebrate your special day. Available for up to 26 guests, this will be held around the Great Oak banquet table, full of medieval fayre and atmosphere.

Accommodation - Littlecote House Hotel offers a variety of room types from the standard Ambassador room to luxurious Royale rooms, which are superbly appointed and exquisitely decorated offering a unique character and ambiance. Some of the Royale rooms are located in the original house and some include a four-poster bed. Flowers, champagne and chocolates can be arranged to make your stay extra special.

From the M4

Exit the M4 at Junction 14 and take the A338 to Hungerford. After approximately 3 miles turn right onto the A4 and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit following the A4. Shortly afterwards turn right onto the B4192 signposted to Littlecote House. After approximately 1 mile the road bends sharply to the right, take the small road straight ahead and the entrance to Littlecote House is approximately 1/2 mile on the right hand side.From Marlborough (A4)
