The Tower is Grade II* listed and overlooks
the 500-year-old Hen Wrych Hall, once home to the poet Felicia
Hemans, whose famous poem was 'The Boy Stood On The Burning Deck'. A
listed castellated limestone building, it is set into the original
boundary wall of Gwyrch Castle. Lovingly renovated with oak beams,
the property has many interesting internal features including a
working open fireplace, heavily carved four-poster bed and
Victorian-style bathroom. The nearest beach is a mere five
minutes' walk and there is a golf course, walks within local woods
and hills and Gwyrch Castle.

garden. Built by the illustrious Wynn family c1500, Gwydir is a
fine example of a Tudor courtyard house, incorporating re-used
medieval material from the dissolved Abbey of Maenan. Gwydir
