Dalston Hall Hotel, Dalston

Occupied by the Romans and then the Danes, the area around Dalston Hall was later frequently attacked by marauding Scots, leading to the construction of fortified structures called pele towers.

Dalston Hall was built around 1500 as a pele tower, with further additions and extensions being made over the centuries. In 1897, the interior of the Hall was extensively refurbished, creating the stunning mansion we see today.

The 13 individually designed guest rooms are lavishly furnished, each with contemporary facilities. Surrounded by magnificent gardens and grounds just 15 minutes drive from Carlisle, Dalston Hall offers the finest luxury coupled with discreet yet friendly service. The perfect place to relax in indulgent surroundings in the beautiful North Lakes.
