Time Period: Multiperiod
Performer / Organiser: Avoncroft Museum, Pike and Shott Events
April 26th and 27th at Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings, Stoke Heath, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire B60 4JR
Travel back in time as over 40 Living History re-enactment groups set up camps in and around Avoncroft’s historic buildings, representing life from the Stone Age, through the Viking era to the 1940’s and beyond.
Join us at Avoncroft Museum for an unforgettable family day out or make a weekend of it giving yourselves plenty of time to explore both the 19-acre site and our historic buildings, which will be brought to life with re-enactors from the Bronze Age to the Cold War. There will also be hands-on activities and a market with trader stalls selling historically inspired artefacts such as jewellery, hats, handmade tools, costumes and pottery.
Over 300 reenactors will set up camps around the 19-acre site, home to over over 30 Historical Buildings and structures spanning 700 years.
