On Sunday 4th June the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum will come alive with re-enactments stretching across the history of air defence. Step into a World War Two plotting room, where WAAFs are busy plotting incoming German raids; take a seat in the Cold War Operations Room as RAF Fighter Controllers intercept an intruding Soviet Bear; listen to the rallying calls of anti-nuclear campaigners, and watch a simulated Bloodhound missile launch.
As well as reenactments throughout the day, there will also be military vehicles and live music. Normal admission prices apply to this special event and tickets will allow for unlimited re-entry to the museum for a 12 month period (visit www.radarmuseum.co.uk for prices).
