Stansted Summer Festival

Time Period: Napoleonic Wars

Performer / Organiser: Napoleonic Association

13th and 14th July 2024 at Stansted Park, Rowlands Castle, Havant, Hampshire PO9 6DX

The highly popular Stansted Summer Festival is back for 2024! Join us for our fourth eclectic weekend of family fun, quirky entertainment, and a little bit of the eccentric all within the setting of a quintessential country estate.

Experience the thrills of battle with a 200 strong army of reenactors, who will be demonstrating cavalry charges musketry drills. Between the reenactments, visitors can explore their living history camp and see what life was like.

Admire the classic cars on display, including Bentleys, MGs and Alfa Romeos, and hear the roar and throb of the Veteran Motorbikers as they parade and ride past the front of the Edwardian mansion. Browse the stalls and watch heritage craft demonstrations before stopping to listen to one of the talks in the beautiful Chapel of St Paul. Speakers include Colonel Richard Charrington discussing ‘The Battle of Waterloo’ and actor Jason Salkey talking about ‘Life at the Sharpe End.’

Marco the Magician and Crazy Hazee Circus Fun are also returning to the Stansted Summer Fun, with entertainment for the entire family. Have a go at archery and enjoy a Safari Ride around Stansted Park. Don’t forget to visit the Walled Garden for a journey on the Stansted Light Railway.

Day tickets available from £12 per adult, £6 for children (ages 6-16) and £34 for a family. Weekend tickets are also available.
