29th and 30th July 2023 at Stanley Park, Dunkeld, Perthshire PH8
A weekend of re-enactments, exhibitions, demonstrations and concerts telling the stories from Dunkeld’s vast history, including The Scottish Crannog Centre’s Iron Age camp. The Erskine Regiment will re-enact the battle of Dunkeld in 1689. There will also be Scots at War and the Great War Society camps telling the story of the Scottish Horse; an exhibition on Victorian photography including live demonstrations of the wet plate process and showing the ‘earliest ever’ photographs of Dunkeld from 1857; and much more.
The majority of the event will be free of charge to the public.
