Living History Medieval Weekend

Time Period: Middle Ages

Performer / Organiser: Bolton Castle

27th and 28th July 2024 at Bolton Castle, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 4ET

In 1415, shortly after the completion of Bolton Castle, Lord Scrope with men of his retinue travelled to France as part of the army of King Henry V, and in October of that year fought in one of the most famous battles of the Hundred Years with France, the Battle of Agincourt.

Join us and find out what life would have been like for the people who lived and worked in the castle, many of whom followed their lord to war in a turbulent period of our history.
