Augill Castle  KIRKBY STEPHEN, CUMBRIA

Carriden House  CARRIDEN, WEST LOTHIAN, SCOTLAND

We are delighted to help those who would like to celebrate their special occasion in the peaceful setting of Carriden House. Carriden House is classified as a Category A listed building by Historic Scotland.

Carlton Towers  CARLTON, YORKSHIRE

An 18th century sensational Gothic style house, ideally situated in the village of Carlton, Yorkshire with easy access from the M62 or Selby on the A19. Licensed for the performing of Civil Marriage Ceremonies with up to 200 guests, Carlton Towers offers a choice of five beautiful Staterooms.

Castle Lachlan  STRATHLACHLAN, STRACHUR, ARGYLL, SCOTLAND

The historic Castle Lachlan, clan seat of the MacLachlans, is a beautifully appointed family home situated on the shore of Loch Fyne and is a licensed venue for civil weddings.

Chillingham Castle  CHILLINGHAM, NORTHUMBERLAND

Chillingham Castle offers something quite extraordinary as a venue for a Wedding Ceremony and/or Reception, where The Great Hall (which is licensed for civil ceremonies) will transport you back in time, with it's stone flagged floor, armour and armoury, heavy wooden tables and tapestries.

Craig-Y-Nos Castle Hotel  PEN-Y-CAE, BRECON BEACONS,  SOUTH WALES

With its stunning location and the carefully preserved ambience of a Welsh Castle, Craig-y-Nos offers visitors a unique  experience. Our dining and entertainment facilities cater for wedding and conference parties of all sizes. The Castle is licensed for civil weddings in both the opera house and the breakfast room.

Dundas Castle SOUTH QUEENSFERRY, EDINBURGH

There could be no lovelier setting in Scotland to become husband and wife than Dundas Castle, the perfect wedding venue. The Auld Keep - a fairytale tower with a winding staircase and magnificent vaulted ceiling is the perfect place for a religious or humanist wedding ceremony.

Duns Castle DUNS, BERWICKSHIRE, SCOTLAND

If you choose to marry in the castle, you have a choice of the cathedral-like gothic hall for small parties, or the beautiful vaulted main reception room for larger groups. The reception can take any form you wish - a good Scottish tea, with your champagne/sparkling wine & possibly the cake/speeches, followed later by perhaps the piper/dancer entertainment and then a sit-down dinner.

Eastnor Castle LEDBURY, HEREFORDSHIRE

Eastnor is a dramatic, fairytale castle situated in a 5000-acre estate in the Malvern Hills, only ten minutes from the national motorway network and only two and a half hours by car from central London. We have a licence to hold civil wedding ceremonies in the Gothic Drawing Room, designed by Augustus Pugin.....

Gwydir Castle  LLANWRST, NORTH WALES

The Castle is an approved premises for Civil Marriages and our two early Tudor ground-floor halls are available for your ceremony and reception. This naturally includes the open log fires and candles that one might expect in such a romantic and atmospheric context. The ten acre gardens are also available for your use.

Hazlewood Castle Hotel HAZLEWOOD, TADCASTER, near YORK and LEEDS, NORTH YORKSHIRE

Hazelwood Castle has been in the family estate of Vavasours since Norman times and was first mentioned in 1086 in the Domesday Book. The Castle has now been elegantly and sensitively restored.........

Langley Castle  near HEXHAM, NORTHUMBERLAND

Langley Castle has the appropriate licence to host Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships. The Castle has firmly established itself as one of the foremost venues in the North East. Each couple are unique, and no matter how large or small the event, we ensure the co-ordination and precise attention to detail that is essential to guarantee the success of a Wedding Reception.

Muncaster Castle  RAVENGLASS, CUMBRIA

Muncaster Castle is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships and is also ideal as a venue for receptions following a church wedding (Muncaster Church is in the gardens) The Great Hall, dating from the medieval age can accommodate up to 100 guests, whilst other rooms within the castle can provide a more intimate setting for a smaller wedding ceremony or wedding breakfast.

Rowton Castle Hotel, HALFWAY HOUSE, SHREWSBURY, SHROPSHIRE

A medieval castle stood on this site until Prince Llewellyn and the marauding Welsh destroyed it in 1463. The present day castle, built in 1669, has been totally refurbished and transformed into a prestigious hotel.
