This charming and elegant Victorian house was built in 1892 and is situated in a quiet road only 40 metres from the beach. Entering the hallway you will step back in time. Nestled in a wooded valley to the west of Alton, Hampshire, Beech Barns offers the ideal luxury retreat. Both the M3 and A3 roads are with 20 minutes drive, and the A31 passes a couple of miles away. Alton also has a mainline station direct to London Waterloo. Heathrow is 50 minutes and Gatwick one hour.

 

Cottage Hotel,  BROCKENHURST, NEW FOREST

Berties,  ROMSEY

This historic building has enjoyed a variety of uses over the years. In the 18th Century it became a coaching house called the Kings Head. In 1995 it was renamed 'Bertie's' after the P.G Woodhouse character Bertie Wooster. Our team of chefs have gained recognition from the AA and Good Food Guide. The menu may feature 'Homemade fishcakes with a tomato herb sauce' alongside 'Brochettes of monkfish with a lemon and chervil dressing' or perhaps 'pork and herb sausages on a bed of mustard mash' alongside 'Roasted rack of lamb with figs and a sauce of ginger'. It is not all full meals, we serve simple lunches and snacks using the finest fresh local produce. In the evening the restaurant is transformed with linen napkins and candles. We can also offer very comfortable guest rooms: these are all en-suite.

 
 

The Grange  WINCHESTER

The Grange offers a tranquil setting (1.5 acres) close to the City centre of Winchester. The Grange overlooks the Cathedral. All rooms are non smoking, up to date and en-suite and all come equipped with Wireless Internet access. Aptly named: The Grange Sleepers Hill.

Copyhold Hollow Bed and Breakfast,  BORDE HILL, HAYWARDS HEATH

Two miles north of Haywards Heath, behind a 1,000 year old box hedge, Copyhold Hollow nestles in the 1½ acre hollow that gives it its name.
