Self-catering accommodation
Plane Tower and Plane Manor House are both available for self catering, either separately or together.

Plane Castle, the baronial house of the Sommervilles, Lords of Plane from 1428 to 1643, is located 6 miles south of Stirling, on the edge of the Bannockburn battlefield.

Both Plane Tower and the Manor House have recently been sympathetically restored while introducing the facilities and comforts of modern living.

Plane Tower, built in 1430, is offered for self-catering accommodation sleeping 4 to 8 people.

The adjacent Manor House dates from 1528, and with 4 double bedrooms is available for self catering either separately or together with the Tower, as the two are connected by a walkway.

The Grounds cover 3-4 acres and include a rose garden, orchard and large pond with families of geese, ducks and a roost of peacocks on the balcony. These grounds have been designed as a fun garden for children.

Weddings and celebrations
Plane Castle is a unique and romantic setting for special occasions. Weddings can be arranged in these baronial settings, for those staying in the castle. Wedding ceremonies may take place within the Tower, in the Manor House, the Great Hall, or in the castle grounds. The Great Hall is also a marvellous setting for special celebration dinners for parties of up to 20 or so.
