Set in 35 acres of formal gardens and woodland, Auchen Castle, the former home of Sir William Younger, retains many of its original period features as well as breathtaking views over the Moffat Hills. Auchen Castle has 25 bedrooms, 15 of which are situated within the original castle, some with four poster beds.

Directions: Once on the M74, come off at Junction 15 (Moffat/Beattock). At the slip road we are sign posted, follow the signs and go onto the b7076. We are approximately one and a half miles from the motorway.
