Auld Kirk Hotel   BALLATER

The Auld Kirk Hotel is the place where you can really relax and recharge your batteries. The Deeside Hotel   BALLATER

Recommended in the Good Hotel Guide 2008, this late Victorian residence is set within an acre of grounds in picturesque Ballater, Royal Deeside. Comfortable rooms are individually decorated, all with en-suite bathrooms. Most double rooms have king-size beds, one of which is a four-poster. The south facing conservatory restaurant offers fine Scottish cuisine that draws from fresh, locally sourced free range or organic produce. The bar, with its log fires and leather sofas, offers a cosy, relaxing space in which to unwind with a drink.

Furnished to the highest standards, Glendavan House offers 3 beautiful suites, each combining bespoke and antique furniture, Victorian features and luxurious fabrics with state of the art, modern facilities. Each suite is self contained and houses a large bedroom, sitting room, with open fire, and bathroom. Recently awarded 5 stars by VisitScotland. Set in the heart of Royal Deeside, just an hours drive from Aberdeen, Glendavan House was built as a shooting lodge in 1886.

Located centrally and with a large private car park, visitors are within walking distance of the city centre and a short car journey to the coast.
