as with everything else at Myres, is a unique
experience. From the simplicity of a family supper
around the solid oak table in the cosy Victorian
Kitchen or the more formal setting of our
magnificent Dining room. At Myres, you can
experience both, prepared to the highest
standards, using the freshest local ingredients.
Corporate Events and Meetings
Myres Castle offers
you a versatile venue for Corporate Hospitality &
Incentives. Whether it is a corporate event, away
day, product launch or Team Building Incentive we
can tailor the Castle to your company’s
requirements.
Myres Castle is set
within 44-acres with ample space for activities
and display of New Products or simply impressing
your clients with your own private Castle!
Myres can accommodate a maximum of 20 persons for
a formal meal and 40 persons for a buffet style
meal within the Castle. A marquee lawn is located
to the front of the castle and will accommodate a
marquee to a maximum of 200 persons suiting larger
events.
We
create attractive incentive programmes staying in
our luxurious 15th Century Castle, experiencing
Scotland, our fine food, great whisky and many
activities from clay pigeon shooting, archery and
Falconry to capturing the spirit of Scotland with
traditional Scottish music and Ceilidh dancing,
Highland games, Highland Story Teller or a Beat Of
The Retreat with a Highland Pipe Band.
The
Muchty Room is the ideal setting for smaller
events and meetings that require exclusivity and a
secure environment. The Muchty Room, seats
fourteen people boardroom style and is equipped
with overhead projector, projector screen,
flipcharts, conference telephone and Broadband
wireless access.
Weddings
Myres Castle is the perfect Exclusive Use venue
and we will be delighted to help make it special
in every way. Weddings at Myres are very
individual and tailored to suit every couple’s
requirements. Myres Castle is a nine bedroom
property with seated dining for up to 20 persons.
For
weddings smaller than 18 guests, rates are
available from a minimum of 6 persons, always with
exclusive use of the Castle. Prices start from
£350 per person per night. Myres Castle is set
within a 44-acre estate and has a beautiful walled
garden & manicured grounds. Marquees up to 250
persons may be erected on the Marquee Lawn, which
is to the Front of the Castle. Myres can assist in
coordinating the Marquee & catering.
Private Parties Myres Castle is the perfect
Exclusive Use venue and we tailor the castle to
your needs. The moment you arrive at Myres, the
experience begins! Traditional Scottish afternoon
tea is served in the Walled Garden or the
sumptuous drawing room as guests relax and settle
into their own ‘retreat’. The remainder of the
afternoon can be whiled away with a choice of
activities such as croquet on the front lawn, clay
pigeon shooting, a falconry display, archery or,
for the more energetic, mountain biking, tennis
and a mini highland games.
Evenings at Myres can be as relaxed or as
entertaining as you like! Enjoy a pre-dinner
drinks reception before being seated for the
gastronomic delights of our award-winning chef.
Cookery Classes and Golfing Breaks

Christopher Trotter brings a wealth of experience
and passion to the kitchens at Myres Castle. Enjoy
a fun & relaxed day in the luxurious setting of
Myres Castle developing your culinary skills in
the Victorian Kitchen.
Myres Castle has over 100 golf courses within one
hour’s drive, notably St. Andrews, Carnoustie,
Kingsbarns, Ladybank and Gleneagles. Famous Golf
Tournaments such as the Open, The Dunhill
Championship and the Diageo Championship take
place on courses close to Myres. Create your own
Golf Tournament or join in the Myres Golf
Challenge, which takes place in June each year.
