The historic
Castle Lachlan is a beautifully appointed family home situated on
the shore of Loch Fyne. The Castle dates from the 18th century and
is the clan seat of the MacLachlans, one of the oldest highland
clans.
The Castle
has been divided into two properties with the superior south-facing
half available for letting.
The private estate extends to 1500
acres consisting of a livestock farm, hill ground, woodlands and
coastline, all of which are accessible to guests.
The ruin of the
original Castle Lachlan dating from the 13th century lies
approximately ten minutes' walk away.
Also available for guests is the recently built tennis court.
Castle Lachlan is a licensed venue for civil weddings.
