social entertaining, the Staterooms at Carlton
Towers provide the perfect seating for between 30
and 200 delegates. An 18th century sensational
Gothic style house, ideally situated in the
village of Carlton, Yorkshire with easy access
from the M62 or Selby on the A19.
The Victorian exterior
of Carlton is due to two men, Henry, 9th Lord
Beaumont, and his architect, Edward Welby Pugin,
son of the more famous Augustus Welby Pugin.
In fact, the Victorian
appearance is only skin-deep. Beneath the
trimmings of 1873-1875 is an older house. The
three-storied square block on the left is the
original Jacobean Carlton Hall of 1614. It may
even retain some of the masonry of the medieval
house of the Stapletons, which occupied the same
site on a sandbank above the flood level of the
River Aire.

Licensed for the
performing of Civil Marriage Ceremonies with up to
200 guests, Carlton Towers offers a choice of five
beautiful Staterooms.
The
Staterooms at Carlton Towers provide the most
delightful ambience for formal wedding receptions
with up to 170 guests or informal receptions for
up to 400 guests.
Carlton Towers catering is available throughout
the year for wedding receptions.
Corporate Events. The staterooms at Carlton
Towers provide the perfect setting for both formal
and informal events for between 30 and 200
delegates. There are also three smaller rooms
(Beaumont, Stapleton and Tempest) available for
syndicate use if required.
With over 200 acres of Parkland and Farmland to
play with, we can easily accommodate most outdoor
activities.
Social Entertaining.

individual, character double rooms bathrooms,
situated on the second floor are available for use
in conjunction with an event at Carlton Towers;

Priest's Hiding Hole Room Four poster
double-bedded room with it's own entrance hall and
bathroom. The bedroom incorporates a priest's
hiding hole, which can be seen through glass floor
panels.
The Tulip Room Four poster
double-bedded room with bathroom en suite,
overlooking the gardens.
The Old School
Room A capacious four poster bedroom with
four windows overlooking both the park and rose
gardens
The French Room
Elegant French style, double-bedded room with en
suite bathroom. Garden views and adjoining door to
Priest's Hiding Hole Room.
The Yellow Room
A soothing pale yellow theme enhances this
double-bedded room. The bathroom is adorned with
drapes to give a highly pleasing tented effect.
