Jersey has a large number of historic buildings,
from a seaside folly to defensive forts and
towers built during the Napoleonic era and the
Second World War, that have for many years only
been accessible to small groups of people.
Jersey Heritage
protects and promotes the Island’s rich heritage
and cultural environment. We aim to inspire
people to nurture their heritage in order to
safeguard it for the benefit and enjoyment of
everyone.
A
programme of restoration by the Jersey Heritage
Trust and funded by the Tourism Development
Fund, is now underway to bring these buildings
back into regular use.
