The
railway carriages are situated on the edge of the village of Wisbech
St. Mary, three miles from the market town of Wisbech, while
Woodlands Farmhouse is one and a half miles from both Wisbech and
Wisbech St. Mary.
Wisbech
St. Mary has three public houses, a general store, Post Office and
fish and chip shop. Market days at Wisbech are Thursday and
Saturday. Wisbech, the capital of the Fens, has many fine buildings and is famous for
it's Georgian Crescent and North Brink.
Wisbech
and The Fens have a great deal to offer the visitor, in addition to
the outstanding architecture, the area is rich in historical
connections stretching back to Roman times through such well known
figures as Hereward the Wake and King John who lost his baggage
train together with a king's fortune near Wisbech in 1216.

the side of the carriage with a footpath to an orchard.
