Butley Priory,   BUTLEY, Near WOODBRIDGE Deep in the wooded heathlands of Suffolk's Heritage Coast lies Butley Priory, all that remains of the Augustinian monastery founded in 1171. There is an impressive conservatory overlooking lush lawns, an elegant dining room in which guests enjoy superb dinners and a south facing drawing room where log fires blaze in the winter months. The bedrooms, all unique, are a delight. Two have four poster beds, a Victorian room (Quince) boasts a huge original cast iron bath and the Mulberry room is secluded up its own private stairs.
