The Auberge is a superb family hotel and restaurant, in the centre of East Anglia. Conveniently situated for visits to Cambridge, Newmarket, Norwich, Ipswich, the Norfolk Broads and other coastal towns. The restaurant has been an AA rosette award winner for the past 10 years, and is now a 2AA rosette winner. The menu is changed daily in order to make use of the freshest local ingredients. Oysters and champagne are our speciality, as well as seafood platters (seafood platter requires 24 hours notice). Restaurant closed Saturday lunches, Sundays and Mondays.

Waveney House Hotel,   BECCLES

The Waveney House Hotel is situated in the beautiful Waveney Valley. Since at least 1540, guests to the house have enjoyed its unique hospitality. The Waveney House Hotel closed in 2001 and has since undergone extensive external and internal refurbishment. Great care has been taken to preserve and re-discover the oak beams, inglenook fires, and all the original and unique features, which make this Grade I listed building so full of character and charm.

 
 

Butley Priory,   BUTLEY, Near WOODBRIDGE

Deep in the wooded heathlands of Suffolk's Heritage Coast lies Butley Priory, all that remains of the Augustinian monastery founded in 1171. Set in its own 7 acres, the building is a unique example of 14th century architecture. This stunning Georgian Rectory dating from the 17th century stands next to the village church and is surrounded by three acres of tranquil gardens. There is an impressive conservatory overlooking lush lawns, an elegant dining room in which guests enjoy superb dinners and a south facing drawing room where log fires blaze in the winter months. The bedrooms, all unique, are a delight. Two have four poster beds, a Victorian room (Quince) boasts a huge original cast iron bath and the Mulberry room is secluded up its own private stairs.
