The Old Rectory is a listed building dating from the 16th century standing in mainly walled grounds, a feature of which are the rose beds and various mature trees. The house is well situated to explore East Anglia, being on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. Bury St Edmunds is 12 miles away, the market town of Diss is 8. Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich are within easy reach.

'Quality in Tourism' has given a Five Star with Gold Award to this property.

The house is beautifully furnished and many period features add to the charm of this lovely stylish family home. The luxurious bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

Sarah and Bobby Llewellyn delight in entertaining guests in their beautifully restored home. A no smoking house. Sarah is a trained cook and Bobby, who has travelled extensively, particularly during his days in the City, offers an interesting and varied wine list.

Next door, All Saints Church is accessible through a gate in a wall and has a fifteenth century roof with complete figures and some of its' original colouring.

There are many picturesque walks nearby, including Knettishall Heath and Thetford Forest and Hopton is well situated to explore East Anglia being on the Suffolk/Norfolk border.

Newmarket, Fakenham and Huntingdon are well known local racecourses which feature strongly in the owners lives.
