Bunchrew House Hotel
Bunchrew, Inverness, Inverness-shire, IV3 8TA (view map)
In every way, Bunchrew captures the charm and natural beauty of the magnificent Scottish countryside. With the sea lapping the garden wall only yards from the house, guests can enjoy the breathtaking views of Ben Wyvis and the Black Isle and relax in a rare sense of timelessness and tranquillity.
We have sixteen bedrooms, each of which is individually decorated and comes with its own unique character and sense of style. The level of comfort does not vary however and each en suite room has bath, shower, colour television, direct dial telephone and fridge. The rooms do not have numbers, but are named after local places and ancient family connections.
Dining at Bunchrew is a real experience. Our wood-panelled restaurant has fabulous views over the Beauly Firth to the mountains beyond and when dining with us you’ll often see the most magnificent sunsets to rival any other place in the world. The food too is superb, with 2 AA Rosette dining and discreet service. Cooking is a fusion of Scottish and European styles using the best of ingredients from the Highland Larder. Menus are complemented by a fine selection of over 70 different wines to suit every palate.
Bunchrew is the perfect place to base yourself whatever your interests might be. There is so much to see and do in the area – fabulous castles and historic places of interest – superb golf courses – the finest stalking or fishing – walking or cycling through some of the best natural scenery in the world – skiing at two of Scotland’s main slopes – full calendar of special events such as Highland Games and Military Tattoo.
