Company Hand & Lock formed in 2001
from two companies with a reputation for the
finest quality of hand embroidery, M.Hand &
Co Ltd. Est.1767, and S.Lock Ltd. Est. 1898.
With a staff skilled in a multitude of embroidery
techniques, the company specialises in designing
and embroidering products for a very diverse
range of customers, either on a one off basis
or for production runs. From an immaculate shirt
monogram, to the most extravagant bridal and
evening wear, and military regalia, all our
work is undertaken with care and pride.

Dating back as far as 1790 our archive
is in daily use as a reference for embroidery,

military and costume embroidery. It also provides
