Christmas in a Castle

After arriving at the castle on Christmas Eve, enjoy a festive afternoon tea, followed in the evening by a delicious 3 course meal.

Christmas Day: Hearty breakfast. Traditional 3 course carvery Christmas lunch. In the evening there will be a soup and sandwich supper to round off the day.

Boxing Day: Full Yorkshire Breakfast, after which the day is yours to spend at leisure. In the evening join us for a final 3 course dinner.

Enjoy mulled wine and shortbread in front of the fire after you arrive on Christmas Eve. Meet in the lounge for bubbly at 7pm before dining in our Loch Fyne Restaurant, followed by coffee and mince pies in the Drawing Room.

Christmas Day: After breakfast why not explore: stroll down to the jetty or take a walk around our very own Barmore Island before enjoying a delicious 5 course Christmas Luncheon. Afterwards relax, perhaps play some snooker in the Snooker Room, unwind with a book in the library or simply snooze in front of an open fire. In the evening a Christmas Buffet will be served at 7.30pm followed by our annual Castle Quiz.

Boxing Day: A late Brunch will be served from 9am to noon. Afterwards why not join us for the Stonefield Boxing Day Hunt for Captain McAllister’s Treasure (weather permitting) in the Castle grounds. A grand time is guaranteed to be had by all! This evening, enjoy a pre-dinne glass of champagne in the lounge at 7pm followed by a 5 course Boxing Day tasting menu.
